KAYU General Manager Jon Rand recently spoke to the FCC about relaxing unreasonable ownership restrictions for media outlets. You can read his speech and watch a video of him challenging Washington State Governor Chris Gregoire by following this link.

That's our opinion. What's yours?

I am unsure whether Mr. Rand was speaking out about some FCC regulations that I am unaware of, the FCC's new hope that cable programming will be forced to offer news on all channels and disallow cable providers to 'bundle' channels, the long debate over all progamming to be aired digitally instead of analog, or whether he is speaking about the last Media Consolidation hearing which just finished up in Seattle.

If Mr. Rand is so passionate about his topic, why does he not share REAL information about what position the FCC is trying to do? All I know is Mr. Rand is GM of a "small company" that owns several TV broadcasting companies in several cities in Washington, that he feels Fox News at 10 is an okay program and the FCC apparently doesn't like "the little guy".. where is the real information? How can I do research on the topic so I can make an INFORMED decision?! Or, am I just expecting too much from a Fox affiliate? I guess I should just be complacent to listen to whining with no concurrent information, take his word on Gregoire and... uh.... do what?

I wonder what Barrack Obama & Sen. Biden along with the American people think about Congressionally approved 'civilian labor camps'? Apparently civilians all across America are in need of their own 'labor facilities complete with gas chamber, furnaces, barbed-wire fences and train access. What do you think about this? View the video link to see what Im referring to.
